Volkswagen Performance Parts

All Volkswagen Performance Parts, All Discount, All The Time…

My first car was a 1960 Beetle. Back then, it was an older car, and relatively cheap. And I had very little money. I bought it from an older gentleman who had kept it in amazingly good shape, which made me want to keep it that way. Of course, it was also really cheap to fix. I came to appreciate the simple elegance of the design and engineering of the VW. Volkswagens have come a long way since those days, and I guess I have too. The VW is still a marvel of engineeering, but the possibility for upgrades is the most impressive aspect (to me) of the new improved VW. It’s not just the universal “folks car” it was at its inception. For some time now the VW has been a powerhouse, on the road and track. We’ve all seen the “pimp your ride” ads on T.V.and while they’re pretty funny, there’s a lot of truth to them. Volkswagen performance parts can effect some breathtaking changes in your car. From interior to exterior effects, supension, wheels, exhaust, you name it, aftermarket performance parts can truly “pimp your ride”.

One thing hasn’t changed: I still don’t like to spend more money than I absolutely have to, so I’ve done a bit of research for discount Volkswagen performance parts. So if it’s a Momo steering wheel (or Momo wheels), Koni, Bosch, Mintex, Continental, Genuine, well, you get the idea… trickin’ out your ride will pay huge dividends in comfort, performance, and efficiency.

I have replaced both front wheel bearings about 10k miles ago under warranty at the VW dealership. But then about a month ago, I heard some bad wheel bearing noise again! I took it to the local reputable garage instead of taking it to dealership this time. They said the front left wheel bearing is gone bad, and the guy was suspecting that the mechanic in dealership probably didn't look at the hub when they were replacing the bearings last time, and the bad hub might have caused the bearing go bad again so quickly. So I replaced the hub assembly and the bearing again. The thing is, now I got my car back, but I still hear some noise very similar to the bad wheel bearings. It's not as loud as before, but it's still audible. What could be the problem? I hope it's not the bearing again!
I have an aftermarket suspension(neuspeed springs, koni shocks) and some performance upgrades(chip, exhaust, front mount IC). Could aftermarket parts like those cause problem like this over and over?

Best thing to do if you already changed the hub and bearing is to replace the assembly on that side, I have had, although rare instances where after replacing the hub and bearing the noise still persists. I would change the spindle assembly on that side and problem will be gone.

My girlfriend just bought an 03 Passat wagon, but it's missing some parts. The roof rack is missing a cap that goes on the end and inside it's missing a cover piece that goes over the console in the rear. Does anyone know if VW sells theses types of parts? Or where could I find them?

yes they will, but check a wrecker first

im trying to install a performance chip on my 07 Rabbit, i need to connect it between the ECU and the AIR INTAKE TEMPERATURE SENSOR, anyone know where these two parts located in the engine?

first of all, if you got the chip off ebay, throw it away now. those chips just mess with the sensors so you end up just dumping fuel into the engine. there is NO power gain from this. you get what you pay for.
performance chips are usually circuit boards that are soldered to the ECU itself. chips can also involve flashing the ECU without soldering. any chip for a NA engine isnt going to net more than 15 hp anyways. i am currently unaware of any such performance chips for the 07 rabbit.
if the "chip" you are talking about is a long cable with a box at some point along it, don't waste your time. your car will thank me.
