I have a 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT and it has Koni adjustable shocks on it. For those who don't know, the Fiero has a 48/52 weight distribution or something close to that. Being that all 4 of my shocks are adjustable, what is the best set up for stiffness on them? Also, any ideas about Springs and sway bars? I am pretty sure it has sway bars front and back…basically what I want to know is what should be stiffer front or back? I guess that of course depends on what I want to do….lets say driving on curvy back roads.
PS I know adding massive heavy wheels and increasing the unsprung weight is not a good idea….
It's best if you put really heavy 22" chrome wheels on the car…that is what the cool want-to-be rappers do, so it must be really good for your handling. The heavier your unsprung weight, the better your car will handle…
Are parts for Audi A-4 interchangable?
Neuspeed makes the best VW parts available. A4 parts are not interchangable
i have a 2007 VW Rabbit, when i bought it a month it was set at stock 150 HP, until now i have added a $700 Greddy Exhaust System, and a $120 GBOX Performance mudule chip, im guessing i have all together about 175 HP because the chip says it adds 11 HP and the Exhast should add about 8-12 HP, how much you guys think these two parts have added, and also on google it says a stock VW Rabbit goes 0-60 in 8.8 sec. how much faster you think it goes now?
The chip was your best buy, but unless you couple it with a performance air filter their estimates are off. My estimate without improving the inflow of air would put you at about 165-170hp. And googles estimate of 0-60 is with a pro driver, ideal conditions, new tires. Oh and also a stick, do not know wether yours is a stick or not. But it should shave a respectable 1/2 second at most. You are on the right track to making a worthy street racer if you stick with it. never underestimate your tires and traction, also lighten your car as much as possible, like you didn't know that already.

The only thing adding any value to this car is the Skunk2 muffler, the spark plugs, wheels shift noob man thats only worth like $600. This car is prob rusty too right so I say $500-1200. by the way "new JDM chrome tail lights" JDM tail lights are all red that read civic DOHC vtec in the center never came in chrome and new haha new was made in 1990 so gl selling this rice out 17's car

$13K for a 700 hp car is great.
if you have the money for the upkeep (maintenance) on such a car, then go for it!

Does anyone know of a site or company that would have any parts for a 1996 volkswagen jetta GL 2.0?
I am looking for plenty of performance parts, not just exhausts or minor things. So like turbos and such.
also, im more interested in body parts such as spoilers, hoods, side kirts, vents, body kits or whatever.
i had that same car, if it has an automatic transmission, there isnt a whole lot you can do to make it perform better.
mine had a 2" drop on Eibach springs, cat back exhaust (japaneese brand, dont remember the name), Neuspeed P-chip, Neuspeed P-flo intake, Neuspeed shortshifter, Neuspeed spark plug wires and the thing was still a slug. it looked real nice with the drop, but had no go whatsoever.
if you were to drop a supercharger or a turbo kit, it would be nice.

lots of places to check out. your best bet is to start a vwvortex and do as much research as you can tolerate. i did two years (off and on of course) of research before i did anything major to my 2003 Jetta.

for my VW Polo, from the dealership it will cost £103 plus VAT, do I buy the genuine VW part or should I get a universal part that would be cheaper, does it matter and will it affect performance, any help gratefully appreciated x
My car is out of warranty
There is no reason that you should not use an aftermarket Lambda sensor.Just be sure its for a Polo and the connecting tags are the same.Regards Mick UK.
