The steering wheel I am specifically looking at is from a company called “ixtab_imports,” an ebay power seller. This is the description of the product I am interested in…
>Deep Dish Drift Style 320mm Racing Steering Wheel
It looks like a momo or omp deep dish steering wheel (but of coarse it is not) with two circle holes on each spoke of the wheel with a yellow marker on the steering wheel located at 12 o clock.
I am considering buying it, but I am a little skeptical of the quality of this ebay product. I did my research but didn’t come up with much of a consensus. I found a few people claiming that their steering wheels from ebay were very sold and of good enough quality, others said that there steering wheels were flimsy and wanted to get a better one, yet did not say where they got there wheels from, if they did say they got it from this company I wouldn’t be asking this long ass question right now. Anyway, I also looked a the reviews of ixtab_imports on ebay, I looked at responses of a bunch of people who bought steering wheels from them and all of the reviews were good ones with no mention of thin metal or anything else negative but, I am still skeptical. I was wondering if anyone has bought a steering wheel from this company similar to the one I have mentioned. If so would you buy it again, does it flex easily, is it the best deal on earth, anything else I should know?
I think it cost around $70 with the hub adapter and a free quick release
I'm not really into racing or going fast, I just like to be comfortable. And this "deep dish" steering wheel as well as it being smaller in size will just put it in a better position for me as I dont have the "telescoping feature."
I also dont believe in buying a really expensive steering wheel. It just sounds stupid to me. Anything over $100 without the hub adapter is a waste of money to me.
But on that note I dont like the idea of a steering wheel I can easily bend, compared to the "bendability" of others.
-is there anyone qualified to answer my question? If not I guess I will have to take a chance a buy it. Then I can help out people like myself, and give them an experienced and well analyzed answer!! and show them howta live!!! with passion baby witha passion!!!
“Has anyone bought a deep dish steering wheel off of ebay?”-
no, i have not.
