My friend is giving me her old car. The only part it needs is, " the part that holds the gears in gear". Anyone know what that is called?
from what I was told, the part was broken when the car was towed. She says it's part of the clutch. It holds car in gear after shifted???
I've got a 98 NB, and this is where I go when I need questions like this answered. Sure beats going to the mechanic first. They just throw parts at the problem. At least this way I know when the mechanic is b.s.-ing me. I can't recall right now what the part is called, but if you post this on the forum, you'll get a bunch of helpful answers. Hope to see you there.
