I want to buy a 1995 Seat Cordoba GLX auto i sat in one a couple of years ago and have been in love with the car ever since.I am now ready to buy a car and cant stop thinking about it my concern when speaking with my local mechanic is that they aren’t very common here in Victoria Australia and the parts may be hard to get i know it is inspired by Volkswagen and some parts are Volkswagen but which parts?I have sat in many other cars like Mazda Astina, Honda civic, Holden Astra, Suzuki Baleno, Mazda 121 and Suzuki Swift but none compare to how right the seat felt. If anyone has owned a Seat Cordoba or fixed one or just has any advice please help

Would the part be the same as the VW part? Are headlights mostly identical?
When changing a headlight, are there any specific rules that I must follow?

almost all headlights from different cars are completely different.
you could change a headlight from an old golf to an old jetta. but that is because they were basically the same car.
you can most certainly not change a jetta headlight for a bmw headlight as they are totally different (shape,size,wiring etc).
if you really wanted to do it you can but it will involve a lot of hassle and maybe even changes to the car bodywork.
which will undoubtably end up more expensive than buying a new light from the manufacturer
